Any poodle in my doodle?

We love the look of our sweet little boy. He is only 6 weeks old, but do you think that he will "doodle out" at all? I know they change so much the first year or two, but I'm just curious what everyone thinks

He is so adorable and beautiful color. Have to wait around 8 mos. old, his adult hair will come in and it will get lighter or almost same.

Thanks. The litter he comes from either stays this color or lightens  to their dad's coloring. He is more of a café color. I can't wait to see what he will look like when he is older. :-)

Adorable! Difficult to tell at this age but my guess is that he will be a very handsome doodle, looks like he has lots of curls showing now! Good luck and post lots of pictures once he gets home!

we have a GD who no one believes is........................she looked like yours;) but her fur changed sooooo much over the first yr or two that we weren't sure what we had!...then out came the retriever...she is golden and beautiful but no one believes she has doodle in her..but she does!!!! when she gets wet everything curls up!........lol.....she does shed......sigh...but I could not ask for a more intelligent dog in my life and iam 60!!!!!! and we've had plenty of dogs....she learned everything in 2 min it seemed........and WONDERFUL with the grandkids ...even saved ones life in a pool and she wont get in a pool!!!!! so be pt. you have a ways to go before you'll know really..........I know not so helpful but.....I felt the same way.......................;) He is beautiful Amber and has great eyes!!!!!!

Thanks! So do I. I hope he keeps it, but he is one of the lighter puppies, so he may change. Only time will tell.

Thanks, me too! But, you can't help but wonder how he will change. I guess I will find out soon enough :-)
