I've noticed that Noah likes to slink away in a corner, and lately closets, when he wants to nap. My other dog loves to nap curled up next to me. I remember my golden retriever I had growing up used to like to nap away from people and oddly, loved sleeping in my parent's bathroom shower! Does Noah nap away from me and my other dog because he's more independent and likes his space? Or is he just hot and wants to be in a cool spot? I just looked for him a moment ago and he was all the way in the corner by the front door sleeping on a wee wee pad (which was luckily unused!)
Fenway is almost always under something. Her two favorite places are under the couch (somehow she still fits, my DH and I keep saying pretty soon she's not going to fit under there, but it hasn't happened yet) and under our coffee table. Don't know what that's about, the den thing I guess!
For Nap time, Hudson sleeps under the end table beside the couch. If he is really tired- after a big play time with one of his friends or long romp in the snow - he will go upstairs and climb into my bed - but he sneaks away to do this. If I am up late at night watching a movie, he will get up onto the couch and stretch out for a full sleep. He really has his places depending on what kind of sleep he is after.

Rozee LOVES the bath tub (her favorite) or on the bricks by the wood stove - if it's not on, of course. For some reason she wants hard-cold spots. Sometimes she'll sleep on the couch or bed, but not often.
Ned thinks that the bottom step on the stairs is just for him. It is just his size and he matches the carpet too! If he gets too hot he just slides down the step onto the tile floor. Humans do not try the stairs in the dark!
Noah is a beauty!!
Guinness will nap anywhere, any place, anytime....he loves the hospital bed delivered for DH (knee replacement) and hops on in at any available chance.
Peyton likes warm, empty chairs.
Abby D'Labby prefers to be next to humans and snuggled in, on a couch, in bed...wherever we are.
