Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Yesterday Paz received his AKC Therapy Dog Excellent Title which requires over 200 therapy visits. So proud of my beautiful doodle. Of course, he has no idea what any of this means because when I showed him the certificate, he immediately sat down and waited for a treat! I guess if it doesn't taste good or is not a squeaky toy, he is unimpressed. On another note, so to speak, I put a bed for Paz in my office, so when he accompanies me to work, he feels right at home. I had to place the bed right in the doorway however, because Paz likes to meet and greet everyone who walks by. Our staff is so used to Paz, that they actually just step over my 80lb labradoodle, rather than asking him to move! It's amazing how Paz makes such a difference to not only the traumatized children we see, but also our staff who sees so much trauma on a daily basis. Everyone begins to smile when they see this rather large, definitely clumsy doodle lumbering down the hall who looks like a huge, gentle muppet.

Congratulations Charlotte and Paz! That's awesome! I'm sure he's made such a difference in so many lives. And you and Paz have inspired so many of us! There is nothing better than sharing doodle love. Wanting a picture of Paz and his new bed :)
Thanks so much for your lovely words and yes, I will definitely get a picture of Paz lying in the doorway in his new bed. It's so funny because he actually refused to lie in the bed until it was moved to the door where he could watch everyone passing by.....he's afraid he might miss the action!
What a great accomplishment! Congratulations to you both. Is it not magical the way they can change the vibe of the whole office? I always say you can't pet a dog with clenched fist. You two were and will remain an inspiration to me.
Thank you so much...and your statement is so very true, that ' "you can't pet a dog with a clenched fist".
I just love the way our doodles truly make the world a better place!
