Is it My Doodles or What?

Whenever my family and I are watching Cesar Milan's Dog Whisperer program, both my Doodles (Paolo and Dolce) sit in rapt attention and when a dog barks or misbehaves on the program, they bark back at the television.

I do the same thing when I'm watching the Sunday morning news programs.

When Cesar gives a command, my Doodles sit down immediately, too.

Does your Doodles do this? Does this count as free dog training?

My doodle doesn't respond to Cesar, but is very attentive to the dogs on the show. He especially loves dog shows and will bark at the dogs as they prance around the ring!

My doodle responds too! As soon as the music from the show comes on, he pays immediate attention to the TV. If he's doing something else and he hears Cesar's voice or one of the other dogs barking, he stops what he's doing immediately. I have a photo of Sunny as a puppy watching The Dog Whisperer. He was only 4 months old here, and was paying close attention to anything Cesar said or did.

Yes, my doodle loves watching it too! However he especially watches when the dog is behaving badly/barking/yelping and I think he is going to learn bad behaviour from watching! I might have to ban him from watching in case he is influenced too much!!

Both of my doodles watch television, but they don't bark when dogs bark.

Blake pretends to gag when he watches Cesar....As do I........I do not subscribe to Cesar's Way....Why?..because number 1

It isn't "Cesar's....lol.....

2. Many of his methods are strictly for extremely aggressive dogs......and are impractical for the average dog lover whio is simply looking to train a puppy or improve the communication......

3. He is BRANDED up the wazoo!.....and $14.95 for 8 oz of Cesar's Vitamin Water for Dogs is a colossal RIP OFF!

Now Animal Planet?...that's a different story!...Blake loves to watch!

How funny , my brown Doodle Tilly loves to watch this programme .She always sits next o me on the sofa and doesnt take her eyes of the tv

My doodle gets very excited and barks at his show but also at ANY show or commercial where there is a dog appearing. We just have to say "Look at the doggoe" and she goes running to the TV. I have never had a dog who pays any attention to the TV before. It is a prblem for us in a way because she doesn't just watch, she barks the whole time. She wants to play with those dogs! I usually have to change the channel if I can't get her to calm down.

I had to laugh when reading this. Cassie does the same thing with Ceser and Victoria Stillwell too. I have some pictures that I am going to download after the holidays. It's really funny to watch her sit straight up in a chair or on the couch and stare at the TV.

I say free training it is but don't tell Cesar !
