I know I have read it multiple times, I am having a hard time figuring out how much Wellness core grain free puppy to Orijen puppy -regular, One thing writing is so small I can't read it. I have a new 4# bag of Wellness and a 28# of the Orijen. Jazzy will be 10 weeks on Monday and I have had her for 2 weeks and she weighed 12 pounds today. Her stools are formed never soft or mushy and I am using bottled nursery water so a change in water does not cause problems. Can someone tell me please how to figure it out and how to increase it as I go. I have been waiting months for this pup and don't want to mess her up-she is a doll.

Will you be upset if I tell you to return the Orijen to the store and stick with the Wellness Core?
It's a really good food. Maybe not as good as Orijen, but it's an excellent grain-free food, and if she's doing well on it, why change right now? As they say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Thanks, It was a hard road getting her-changing breeders-had to have 2 surgeries first and a long drive to pick her up-she is so worth it. I thought i had everything planned-but now the food thing
The two foods are very similar, but Orijen is higher in calories and the feeding amount is smaller. Assuming that she is fed three times per day, I think I'd just feed the Orijen for one meal each day for two or three days, and if that goes well, increase to two meals Orijen and one meal Core for a another few days before going 100% Orijen. IF you do decide to switch.
I ordered it from chewy-think they will exchange?
I've never used the on-line pet food suppliers so I have no idea how that work; but their return policy is probably on the website.
Also, I know it's cheaper to buy in bulk, but you should really never buy more dry food than you can use in a month unless you can freeze it. 28 lbs of Orijen will last way more than a month for a small puppy. When JD ate Orijen, he went through only about 5 lbs a week, and he weighs 80 lbs. :)
Thanks Karen, I checked their return and they will take it back. I will buy a smaller supply of Wellness and keep her on that-I just want her to have the best I can give. Want a healthy and happy puppy-and one with a long life.
She's a lucky pup to have such a devoted mom. :)
JD eats Wellness Simple Solutions, (he needs an LID formula) and I've been very happy with it.
Wow, that's amazing. What a great company, certainly deserving of our business.
