New Parent, just some beginner questions

We recently went and picked out a new puppy. He is an F1 chocolate labradoodle. He is only 4 weeks old at the moment and his hair is not that curly or wavy. Can I expect his hair to get a little more flow to it, or does it look like he will have short hair more like a lab. I attached pictures and hopefully somehow with knowledge or past experiences can help me out.

I see the beginnings of doodle facial furnishings and I think you will have a wavy coated doodlely looking dog.

I think he will get some waves. I don't think he will be lab straight or poodle curly.

I agree...it appears he has some waves beginning to appear. No doubt, they keep us guessing with all the coat changes they go through!

He is similar to our Maserati when he was tiny. He now has very crazy wavy fur, permanent bed head, is what we call it!

He is a cutie! Does he have a name yet?

Maserati is a cuite! We can only hope Oakley has a great head of hair like that.

I have no experience with Labradoodles but just had to say how very adorable the puppy is! I look forward to seeing photos as he grows!

Part of the fun on a doodle is waiting to see what they turn out like, we have one that every one guesses as an Irish Wolf Hound and one that looks just like a cartoon of a doodle, they crack me up when I look at them. Will be fun to watch and see what you got, in the meantime I want to cuddle yours, have you named him?

His name is Oakley. We are already in love with him. We don't care what his hair type ends up being. We just wanted to get an idea. We have a mini goldendoodle already and he is staring to get some really nice curls. We have just never had a labradoodle before and were curious.

I don't know either but he is adorable!  4 weeks is pretty young to determine much unless you're looking at a multigenerational pup.  He's pretty fuzzy and it looks he has some waves so I don't think he'll be lab straight, but whether he'll be wavy or just adorably tousled or wiry -- I can't tell at this age.  My friend has an F1 labradoodle that has a coat more like an Irish wolfhound and he's a great looking doodle.
