Remington's coat is really throwing me for a loop. I haven't been able to find any similar adult coats like it and am wondering what would be best when it comes to care. I don't even know how I would describe his coat...any suggestions or comments would be much appreciated!
Super fluffy, but still short as a 10 week old little boy:
Coat is starting to change:
This is his coat at a little over 4 months old:
Also here is a picture of Remington and his puppy brother, August. Is it normal that these two boys look SOOO different?! Remington is on the left, Auggie is on the right.

It is completely normal that they look so different. Not sure where Remington is from (breeder) but I would think most experienced breeders would have a good idea up front if there was going to be this much different. When you have 1/2 Golden and 1/2 Poodle, they can get different parts in the gene pool. I think your little guy is going to end up looking much like Luna (J & Luna). Go to their page and check out the pics. The waves down the back suggest he is going to doodle out some, but I don't think he'll have a beard or real furry feet though.
I agree with Sheri. I'll bet if you think about it, you know lots of people who look nothing at all like their brother or sister. That's how genetics work.
I also agree that Remington is probably not going to have the facial furnishings (beard, moustache, eyebrows, etc.) and i think his coat will be wavy but not long. The good news there is that he probably won;t need much in the way of haircuts. :)
But such cuties! both of them!
There's definitely a family resemblance in the nose department, lol.
LOL, you know me so well!
Adorable picture of the two of them!
You are going to save a TON on grooming. He has a cute doodle face without all the work. :) What a couple of cuties!
Oh my, Remington looks so similar to Elsa, who is an F1b Golden. I was very surprised as well, since Elsa is 75% poodle and looks more golden!
He is a cutie--does he shed? We are blessed to have very little shedding.
