Dog bed

Hi! We have Kubi, a 4 month old loving goldendoodle but who is still a puppy! When did people get a dog bed for their dog and any specific recommendations? 

Also we live in Lakewood Ranch, FL near Sarasota and Bradenton. If anyone lives near here and wants to meet up, Kubi and I would love to have a play date!

Charlie has one of these Sherpa Crate Pad since day one. Two years and many trips through the washing machine, it's pretty ragged. But he loves it. He drags it around the house, puts it where he wants to be, sleeps on it, and chews on it. I totally agree with being able to wash it, in hot water preferably! At first, a lot of fuzzies came off, but once that was over, my carpet is fuzz-free.... at least from that.

We also have one of the huge beds from Costco in the bedroom, but Charlie is only on it for a few minutes each day. He'd rather be in the people bed. There have been other beds. Charlie has either rejected them outright (I feel like Goldilocks), or I have rejected them. He may have picked a hole in a stuffed one, decided one might make a better flinging object, or they turned out not to wash well. Sigh, it's sort of like a child's blanket.

That leaves us with bed requirements: small, light weight, minimal to no stuffing, machine wash and machine dry, and no fuzz.
