Thanking you from Cody, Bucketz, John and I!!

Hello everyone!  We are new to Doodle Kisses but know many members from the Doodle Zoo.  We have been very blessed this year with donations from our doodle friends to help pay for Cody's chemo and two surgeries.  He was diagnosed January 13, 2014 with stage 3 Lymphoma and started chemo that week.  By the 3rd week he was in remission and remains so:)  In June he had to have a cancerous mass removed from his jaw and then last week he had a large mass removed from his hip/back area.

These three events seem to hit when many other things hit us.  I lost my job in March and was unemployed 2 months.  Then Bucketz had to have emergency surgery for an ear hematoma.  On top of that we could not delay the installation of a replacement sewer lateral from our house to the street for another $19,000.  Many times since January we questioned how we were going to give Cody the care he needed.  The care he deserved! 

Thanks to the Doodle Messenger and a GoFundMe account set up through friends on the Goldendoodle facebook page, we have been SO blessed by donations to help pay his bills.  Most are anonymous so we are trying to make sure we thank everyone wherever they may have heard about us.  I tell his vet that Cody has guardian angels all over the country!  So PLEASE accept our thanks for helping us to enjoy more time with our precious boy:)  We look forward to paying it forward in many ways in the future!!

Hi Jennifer ~ I am so happy you found the Doodle Messenger and received the help you needed.  It is overwhelming to get hit with so many things at one time, and I have no doubt that you and your husband are the type of people that will pay it forward when you are able.  I hope and pray things get better very soon for you, your family and your beautiful doodles.

I can't imagine having to decide whether to treat the doodle I adore or doing something else-horrible situation. I am so glad it worked out. Hoping for better days coming.
