just got our first doodle

We were given a rehomed goldendoodle. She Is 2 years old and I'm curious about her coat? She Is shaved right now but it is long enough to see and obvious wave on most of her body. However, the hair on her head is very short? I'm wondering if that is normal because we were looking forward to the shaggy long haired look. Also I am trying to add pictures but am new to this site and am unsure how to do it. TIA!

Thank you so much for rescuing her.  She deserves a loving home.  I think she is pretty much going to look like she does now, with lovely waves on her body and an open face.

There's a lot to be said for the open face.  No hair falling in the eyes, no wet beard on our lap.  :)  I think she is adorable and is going to be super cute with her wavy coat.

I agree!  She is beautiful!  and you won't have water dripped all over the floor every time she drinks!
