What do we think of this "new" brand?

Ran to petco today after getting my nails done to grab some yummy chummies and whimzees before coming home. On an end cap I see a product I've never noticed before. The brand looks to be "good lovin'" on the back I can see that it's an extension of the petco brand... I also see that it's almost all single ingredient, lists the sources of ingredients, and is distributed out of California. When i asked the cashier about it she said they're brand new and she's really excited about this extension and about them not carrying products of china after December. I google this good lovin' brand and can't find much...except this video.

I feel like it's a good effort? But I don't know if I trust it. Thoughts?

Wow, I see what you mean about there not being any info out there for these! 

I can't recommend them until I verify sourcing and manufacturing (distributing means nothing). 

But if they really are just freeze-dried New Zealand mussels or salmon tails or whatevers, they should be perfectly fine. Stinky maybe, but fine.

I know! I found some trademark info for the name and that random youtube video and nothing else.

 I agree, the concept is awesome. If the sourcing and manufacturing check out I will be really excited about this brand extension, especially since petco has been cleaning up their act recently as far as what they carry.

they had chicken necks, chicken hearts, kangaroo tails, chicken tails, lamb lung filets, the mussels, salmon tails and a few other things which all *looked* great. As far as the stinky goes...I didn't open any bags lol.

FYI chewy.Com has least expensive whimzees we have found :)

Thank you! We do use chewy.com for the majority of our treats and food, but with the whimzees I just buy them every long once in awhile by the sample package (george doesn't like the green colored ones), on chewy I can't choose which color comes, I have to buy a whole package of them! So I just buy a few of the sample sizes when I'm over by petco and can guarantee I don't get any green ones. :)
