New Research Planned into Early Spay / Neuter
UC Davis are planning new research into the effects of early spay snd neuter, and they are specifically going to focus on mixed breed dogs - listing doodles in the proposal. I'm not sure if there should be a difference in the effects between purebred and mixed breed, but glad that more research is being done. Read more here:

I'm glad to hear this too. Sophie was spayed at 7 weeks as per the breeder's policy. She's seems just fine health wise, but I do wonder if it was the best thing for her.
