Great birthday present--finally got my AESCULAP clippers!

I asked this group for advice months ago about what clipper would be best for my small doodle grooming business--and for grooming my own three doodles! The answer was Aesculap! I waited until my birthday so I could get the hubby to buy them for me as a present ;)

I got the FAV5 model from Cherrybrook where they are 20% off at the moment. They arrived in one day! I have yet to use it, but it looks powerful and well made. Will let you know how it goes! My Rio, who has an incredibly thick coat will be my first victim!

My birthday is not for a few weeks yet, but I could not wait to open them! (It is the big 6-0--scary!!) Will give you all a report soon--love the way they come in a heavy plastic case--and they are pretty heavy but feel comfortable in my hand...

Happy Birthday! Wow, at that price (I went to Cherrybrook and checked them out) they must be the Rolls Royce of clippers! I'll be waiting to hear what you think of them.

Yes, they are price-y but probably the last pair I will ever need--so well made. I did not Mattie's grooming today--she is easy with a thin F1 coat, but I could already see how well they worked--tomorrow is the real test--RIO's thick coat.
