Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Come join us at Arbor Dog Park Sunday October 19th 1 to 4 PM. We have such a friendly group of owners and their doodles you don't need to know anyone to feel like 'one of the family'.
Who can make it to the 'fun with Doodles day'?

So adorable! Mine sometimes touch when they are sleeping, but they are definitely not snugglers with each other. I love how close these two are :)
I have hundreds of photos of them lying back to back, side by side, cheek to cheek, hugging with their arms around the other, or lying on top of each other while sleeping. So hard to resist taking those shots! These are my first puppies, and I hear that it's not that common to be so attached like that, especially since Maggie joined us a year later as an abandoned stray rescue. Withing SECONDS, they were playing and dancing together, and within 30 seconds of her first arrival, they were on the couch cheek to cheek all happy. And it's been like that every day since. They were meant to be together. They even lie down and share their bully sticks cheek to cheek chewing on their own half.
This photo deserves FIRST prize for "snugglies"
This is video of Kona's first day home with her big brother, he was 2years old.

And now, they still do love to play together :)

I can't wait to meet your two Gwyndolyn!
I love baby Kona's little voice! So cute! I don't think my puppies will ever win a calendar shot since I'm always catching the cute stuff with my cell phone rather than my good camera. But I'll make my own calendar that only a mom can love (with messy sheets and shoes in the background. :-) )
Gwyndolyn, Costco's photo dept makes a very nice calandar with thick pages for only $10.
Thanks for the tip! I'll check it out. I know that Paul uses Costco sometimes for some of his printing and has an account there.
Very fun watching doodles playing together! Just be prepared that Maggie is a VERY different outside dog than inside. Inside, she always let's Kona think he is Alpha and winning any wrestling match, and with us she is sweet and submissive and affectionate and cuddly and quiet and loves to be groomed and talked to. And she always lets Kona get first dibs on any treats and food and then gently joins him to share. Outside, her wild stray herding dog instincts take over and she goes through the gate at the dog park like a bullet racing and chasing and tackling the biggest dogs she can find. Not cuddly at all outside! All play and tackle. Kona runs to find a little kid or lap to jump onto and Maggie finds willing wrestling and racing mates. She does it with a soft jaw and doesn't bite down, but it doesn't look like that to the uninitiated, so we try to keep her with big dogs that love to play hard even though she is only 30 pounds. Nimbus seems to be the exception. The two of them are a white tornado of hair when they get together and you can't tell where one starts and the other ends as they tumble around.
Our next big task with Maggie is to get her into regular agility classes to focus her brain more when she is outside!
If I were younger I would love to take Sydney to agility classes. Sydney can jump over our 41 inch gate. Had to teach him "no no" to that gate. You have seen how Hershey will jump up into my arms.
