Straight to wavy, my baby's hair never changed texture, she is 1.5 years now. She does curl when she goes in the water but once we brush her it straightens out.

Mine's coat appears very similar to yours. Mine is about the same age as yours. The breeder told me to expect a wavy coat

He's awesome! Our breeder said the same.. Well to be exact he said "his coat will be more straight than curly" I assume that means wavy-ish. Lol! Thanks for sharing!

Caring for his coat will be a new experience for me. This site has a wealth of information. I brush each day, mostly to get him used to the idea of being brushed. Good luck with your little bundle of terror, er, I mean joy :-)

Haha! Thanks David! Brushing now everyday is a good idea! DK saved us when we got our first.. Doc. I learned how to groom him through the group discussions here. Then I learned that I really don't have time to keep him long and shaggy like I wanted originally! I was upset at first then got over it and realized how dang cute he is in a "puppy cut" 2" -3" is much more managable with his type coat. I'm curious/ anxious/ excited to learn about Ozzie's coat! Let the games begin!!

OMD he is gorgeous!! And I love his name.. It was on my list! Ozzie's curled up whiskers won him the name "Oz"!

I think wavy.  go to my profile to see ours.  Teddy is curly on face, legs, body, but towards the tail, he is more straight.

Here is Preston with my brother's miniature goldendoodle, Maggie.  Both are quite curly!   People often ask me if Preston is a poodle, I think because of his curly hair and long legs!
