Another Mac Update

Hi Everyone! Just a little Mac update. We are at 2 months with Mr. Macaroon. He is doing well. He has started licking one paw again (outdoor pollens are high here). He still "looks" sad but I think that is just how he looks. He is doing great in the house and with the other dogs. He is pretty terrified on lead when around a lot of people in new situations. He is great around every dog he has met. Much better with dogs than people. He is soooo incredibly submissive around people. Seeing this has really opened myself up to how much he has grown with us. He avoids eye contact with most humans but is looking at us a bit more. He lays on the couch with us now. But even saying all that honestly he seems most relaxed when hanging with our other boys. Mac would not have done well in a home with just him as a dog. I think he visibly relaxes around his "brothers". So its always interesting working with these rescued guys. You never really know what you are going to get. Its funny but Mac is the only dog that Brisby will allow to put his head on his body. Mac's coat is growing in and its getting hard to distinguish between my cream boy.

Love the update--Mac looks like a sweetie!  I love how you teach your kids to be good with the dogs too-that is so awesome!!  Mac is a lucky boy !!  : )

He does have sad eyes, but I can see a real change from the first set of eyes you posted of Mac!  He is one lucky boy and definitely found the perfect forever home!  Hi coat is looking wonderful!

I just love the picture of the 2 sitting side by side focused on that toy.  it looks like it was photo-shopped and is just 1 dog shown twice  :)  They look like twins.  I haven't been on DK much, but i have been reading about Mac and it is great to hear that he is doing better.
