I have a ALD he is 7 months old, what color of brush would you recommend? Would you also recommend the duo brush? Thank you in advance for any recommendations.

It depends on his coat type. Tenley has a wavy fleece and we use the single size red matt zapper (which I would recommend regardless of coat types-- it's a life saver!) and the double size green one. I know others with a wavy fleece that have the matt zapper and the duo green/gold. I think you'd be wise to get red and some brush that has green-- whether that's just green or green/gold.

Wow. Tenley and Margot look so similar! I've been waiting for a brush, but might get it now. They advertise their DUO Red/Silver UnderCoater for labradoodles.

Interesting! I have never used the silver one. Tenley and Margot certainly do look alike.

Thank you so much, I ended up getting the small red zapper and the small green one. I think because Hunter is a miniature the small should work.

You got the small green, Gayle?  I am going to try again.  I even use the small size on our 60 pound doodle because it is easier on my wrist.

I bought a duo also today on groomershelper website, but the coupon was no longer valid  I noticed Amazon is carrying the Activet brushes also, but through a third party seller - groomershelper!  Shipping was $4.95 on Amazon and only $2.95 on groomershelper.com.
