We picked up Luke yesterday from Mary who owns Heritage Specialty Dogs and are now official puppy raisers. Luke has already been designated for an autistic child when he completes his training. He is 7 1/2 weeks old and will be with us for the next 6-9 months.
He is already showing me how adaptable he is to new things as he got busy exploring the house, the yard, the cars, our bank (who loves us to bring Deuce and Chance to see them), and anything else he can stick his little nose into right now. He is a complete change from Deuce as a puppy. Deuce was very quiet and introverted. The best way I can describe Luke when he is not napping is WIDE A$$ OPEN TURBO CHARGED!!! I believe we have our hands full with this doodle!!!

Wow--he is a real cutie!!
Here's the pix that were attached: (Note you can insert the pix directly into your post so they can be viewed immediately like below by clicking on the image icon (the little picture frame with blue and green in it) and uploading the there instead of using the "attach a file" option where we can only see the file names until we open them.)

Yes... he IS a cutie! I love his 'dirty' nose!

This is turning into new doodle puppy week!!! all these new puppies I can hardly contain myself :-)
He is beautiful, I love his coloring! What an adventure you're going to have! you're gonna be the best puppy trainer ever at the end of this experience! How fun...keep us up to date on his progress and what you teach him and where you take him...all that stuff! And if you wanna know how to insert photos RIGHT into the discussion watch this video

He is sooo cute! Good luck on the training!
Luke is adorable! best of luck with him--this is a GREAT thing you are doing--I'd love to get involved in something like that when I retire (In 18 months!!!)

Oh Luke is super cute. You know I am so jealous! Congrats and good luck with the training.
I love the pics. I miss him and lil' black so bad already, BUT then again I have my hands full with "Max" the chocolate. I will have to figure out how to post pics on here so I can add my pictures to this too. I am so thankful for your help. ~Mary
What a cutie. I am sure he is going to be a great companion - when he tones down the turbos.
So this is the dog you were helping to raise money for - well for the autistic boy - right? So I assume the money was raised?
Luke is ADORABLE!!!!
