Any kind of light, natural, artificial even enlightenment. Of course we always need light to photograph but here light can have a starring role or even be a literal star.

Thank you DJ. This is one of the golf courses and we love it when it has snow and no golfers. :>) It's a great place to go off leash and the golf course invites walkers and dogs to use it in the off season. These photos were taken at about 3 o'clock and the light was already starting to fade a little.

I like the first shot.  It could be titled "Solitude".  I just feel the cool, crisp air.  Cross-country skiing is the way to experience new snow.

Thank you Linda. I didn't realize there was so much snow. I made a plan to break out my skis the next day but the temps rose considerably over night and the snow was pretty much gone by morning.
