Are the F1's? A little info on the parents would help although it really is hard to know at this age. They are going to change a great deal even in the next few weeks. Obviously at this point the one on the right is much curlier than the other but even that could change.
Sara ~ I think he does not look very poodle-like because they have let his coat grow out, but his feet and tail are cut like a poodle. If he were groomed, he would probably look more like a poodle. Usually the poodle face is cut quite short (not like a doodle). Looking forward to seeing your pick and how he matures.
I too, would choose the one on the right!
OMD! How do you choose between those cute boys? :-) I think F. is right. The fellow on the right will likely be curly.
Both puppies have a nice deep reddish color, and the fact that the father is still red, suggests it's likely that they will retain their color. While both puppies are cute (Aren't they all?!), the one on the right looks to me like he will be very curly, and the one on the left might have that wavy/shaggy look that you desire. I'd wait to see if the breeder can help you distinguish between their personalities as they get a bit older.
Am I the only one who finds the guy on the left the most precious? The nose and paws...
If I were to get another doodle, it'd probably be a red like these guys... or some sort of parti...
I would wait as long as the breeder will let you before you make a decision. But right now if you want shaggy vs. curly my choice for the best possible result would be the one on the left. But that doesn't mean he couldn't end up curly.
