Our doodle runs free. The good news is her coat is relatively short, 2-3 inches. She is easy to maintain. She doesn't shed much but the hair is longer than our other dogs so it shows more. Our main problem (as with any dog) is they run free and can eat anything which is sometimes hard to recognize later. The nature of the species. You will love your doodle. They are sweet by nature. Have fun.
Exciting time getting a puppy. There is a midwest group. I lived 33 years in Chicago and the Decatur area. Have fun and look forward to pictures.
