…this seems extreme to me.  I can't imagine putting it on my dogs and would be scared of what it could do to them.

The way my two guys play together something like this would never work.  IMO this is going a bit "overboard".

I totally agree.

I agree completely.

I am assuming these are only on your dog when you go out where you would encounter another dog.  I think they look extreme but then again if my dog had been attacked I would probably think them a great idea.  But, again, I would never keep this on my dog at all times and we are seldom ever where we would encounter another dog.  Not buying any for my girls but can see both sides of this.

Probably would have saved my brother's Schnauzer when he was attacked by a pit.  He died from his injuries.

Obviously it would only be used when walking the dog.....certainly not when at home or in the yard.

Wow.  I can't imagine that the dog wearing it wouldn't get hurt.

I would hurt myself!  My mom's cat was attacked and killed by a pit.  A collar around the neck would not have deterred fatal bites.

These look like the collars that Anatolian Shepherd Dogs wear in their homeland of Turkey.  The collars are supposed to protect the dog in battles against wolves to protect the flocks of sheep and goats...
