Just an update.... I had been searching for the Les Pooch brushes which are pretty much impossible to get and after the replies on this discussion I decided to try the ActiVet brush. Some have commented that these are the same as the Les Pooch being sold under this new name... I can't say if that is the case since I have never seen the Les Pooch brush but I can say the ActiVet brush I ordered (purple) works great! I spend less then 1/2 the time brushing out Oakley last night and worked out a few mats. The cost was $40 and received it in 3 days with $5 shipping from http://www.groomershelper.com/
Brush is made in Germany, quality is good, not super heavy which make brushing out easier. If you are in the market for a brush I would recommend you giving the ActiVet a try.

I've stayed out of Les Pooche brush discussions because I have to be one of the only people who does not care for the brush. Dont get me wrong, most love it, it is just not for me or my dog, I have a brush I won from this site that I love but it is starting to fall apart.

So, if I were to order the ActiVet brush  ( I was thinking about it especially since the price was much better) I would be getting the same product?   Just curious.

Great, I'm in the market for a good brush. I could use a discount, the price of the brush isn't too bad but with shipping to Canada it gets to be a bit much. How do we avail of the discount?

We ship by USPS 1st Class International Mail it is aprox. $8.00 to Canada and should arrive in 6-10 days.

How do you find the discount? How do you know which one to buy. I don't mind paying a higher price for a good brush but hope to avoid having to buy three in order to find the right one. Thanks!

Try http://www.groomershelper.com/labradoodle and you want the TuffZapper Double Headed Brush. This will demat/brush your dog out in half the time. Remember these are very aggressive flex head brushes used by professional groomers and you must know how to brush and comb correctly. Always brush away from the skin the only tool to touch the skin should be the comb. "Only you can prevent brush burn."
