well i am new to this breed and so far i am speechless. Floyd is only 10 weeks old and sits and comes on command and has been 100 % house trained in the 1st week that i had him. Last night i was not feeling to well so i did not put him in his kennel and all night long he did not do ANYTHING in the house!!!! I heard him around 5am wanting to go out so i got up and let him out. I got up with my kids to get them off to school and walked all over the house thinking i was going to find pee and poo.....NOTHING!!!!!! i just wanted to share the excitement and hoe proud of my baby I am. KUDOS to Floyd
AND you should be thrilled!! Keep us posted. We love to hear stories about our Doodles!!
Wait until you see him playing with other doodles! Keep your camera handy. My inexpensvie, idiot camera takes stills but also videos. Not perfect results but I do have them on 'film'. That is the special part. My friends and extended family who really don't know Samantha think I am nuts but I have selective hearing. I cook for her, we have playdates on cold, windy days - even spent my birthday in the woods (enlcosed 14 acres surrounding the dog park) for 2 hours freezing!!! Would have never even considered with human kids but with Samantha.....
Enjoy Floyd - which obviously you do!!!
I've had 6 dogs in my life and this one is by far the best--what a great companion--even though i have a less aid back labradoodle than most. I have to agree with all you have said, though. She is so smart and trainable--communicates really well, too. Enjoy Floyd!!
