Hey, it has been a while since this post and I am wondering what has transpired since then. What are you doing these days? I would love to have you come to my Art Share in March. You are exactly the type of person we love to chat with. Some local artists (all kinds) come and share their work. Just bring a couple of samples of your work and be ready to talk about it with other artists. We love it. Take a look at my page to see what I did last year. I will put in a friend request so we can communicate with personal messages.
Take a look at Gina's geese on page 7 of her gallery. They are so cool.
Yes! the geese are wonderful! It reminded me of a print I bought at an art show a few years ago. I just pulled it out and will try to scan it to share with everyone. The artist is well known in this area for her nature photo art. I have always been drawn to her work.
Definitely! Let's do another hangout session to discuss how to approach different ways to do this using Corel Painter and/or Photoshop. Maybe next weekend?
I'm good with that. 16th, 17th? I will put my design computer on line so I can participate in the discussion and see everybody. Last time I was on this computer and could not fully participate. Invite me. I would love to do another Google Hangout.
Okay, what is a design computer????? I sure hope I can figure out how to do a hangout again. Linda had to call me and walk me through it last time. Ha ha.
Well, Dee, we have a computer that we use just for design work and it is hooked up to our big printers and has all the expensive software on it. My husband uses Autocad and I have Adobe 6, Dreamweaver, and Corel on it. So we do not use it for e-mail and internet. However, it is the Touchscreen computer and I can get the hangout on it because it has a camera and speakers built in also. Last time, I did not put that computer online (for obvious reasons) but we can do it. I just don't trust the internet with that computer. So, that is my "design computer".
Wow, sounds very high tech to me! I haven't even heard of AutoCAD and Dreamweaver! I'd like to see some of your work with it!(:
Sounds good to me! Whenever is best for you, I will make myself available. In the meantime, I will pull off the tape and try to scan at least part of the painting...Thanks Linda!
Did you recently buy a camera? You can just photograph it, rather than scan it! Take it at the highest resolution possible, and if you have a tripod, set a timer so that you don't accidentally jiggle it when you press the shutter. Send the image to me before we do the hangout and I'll crop it for you. :)
Dee - Looks like really nice watercolor paper. I like them. I would probably just outline every color change with fine line marker. But that is just something that I like. They are beautiful.
