We do something very similar! We bought the JW Holee ball for Myla. We also bought her stuffies with squeakers. The stuffies lasted five minutes so what DH did, was take the squeaker and stuff it in the Holee Ball. Myla loves it. She will grab the ball and squeak it whenever she wants attention (she seems to squeak it the most when we are watching a TV show and not paying attention to her :)
We have one of these, Wendy, but my guys aren't interested in it at all. I wonder if they won't like the suggested on if the 'noise' parts come out? Hmmm
We actually bought the ball so that Myla could grab it in the lake and swim back with it, but she doesn't like bringing her "ball" out of the water and she didn't play with it at all "as is". We bought her some stuffed animals with squeakers in it and she demolished them instantly. The plastic"squeakers" inside were the size of tennis balls so DH just stuffed them inside and they are one of her go-to toys - especially when we're watching TV. I'd give it a try!
Mine liked playing tug with the plain ol Holee Roller. But otherwise they didn't play with it much. However, in the largest size you can squeeze in a tennis ball or medium chuck-it brand ball through the largest hole. Then it's the funnest toy ever!
I have yet to find a toy Vern cannot destroy. I need something to get him to stop eating Kleenex. LOL
Ha ha, this is awesome!
A store clerk recommended "Crackle Heads" rubber with crunchy plastic bottle material inside. Makes a nice noise they seem to find exciting. Puppies may find it scary?
Thank you for the tip on Fluff & Stuff. Can't wait to try one.
