HI from Florida

I just found this website from a breeder. I had a labradoodle and a goldendoodle. Creme Goldendoodle boy passed last Christmas 8.5 yrs (cancer) and Black Labradoodle girl passed a little over a week ago 9.5 yrs old - (cancer). Needless to say I'm heart broken.

I got a male standard poodle last year after the golden passed. I grew up with poodles and I love them. We've just picked out an adorable white labradoodle girl at a breeder. She's only 3 wks old so I don't get her until mid-February...the waiting is awful. She's SOOOO freaking cute!!!! I'll post pics when I get her. Her name is Maggie Mae.

Denise, I am so sorry about the loss of your two doodles. Welcome to your poodle and your almost-with-you new girl, Maggie Mae. What a great name! Picture? Must joins are the grooming and nutrition groups; Puppy Madness; and a regional group for your area.

Welcome and I too am sorry to hear of your loosing not one but two doodles. And at relatively young ages. I too would be heartbroken should either of mine leave so soon. I guess we all hope for >12 years of more. Or at least I do! So glad you are getting another doodle and she and your poodle will be best of friends I'm sure.

Maggie Mae - love it! Welcome to DoodleKisses - the best website around for doodle lovers everywhere. I also lost two wonderful doodles too young, one from liver failure at 7 years old, and the other from cancer at 8 years old. I currently have an ALD - great dog - and will get a sheepadoodle later this year.

Sorry to hear of the loss of your dear doodles. We had a standard poodle also and when he passed it was so heartbreaking. Researching non-shedding dog breeds, I ran across ALDs and the rest is history. Charlie Brown is now 4 and Beau is 2.
