Gavin and the Shell Game

Baby its cold outside!  Not fit for man nor beast.  So it was indoor games day.  Here is a little video of Gavin playing the "shell game."

Despite where we live, I don't know if we've ever had a day that it's too cold to go outside. Of course the Muttluks and jacket are a big help.

This was our first day off this winter. The North wind off Lake Huron yesterday was so harsh, even with protection I litterally felt the moisture in my eyeballs freeze. Painful.

When my nose hairs freeze, I feel like it's too cold. So, does Gracie, that's about the temp she starts picking her feet off the ground. Maybe next year I will invest in some mutt lucks. But, I will draw the line if my eyeballs freeze. ;) it's good to have backup ideas. Luckily for us, we had sunshine and that made it feel a little warmer, so we ran around the house two times yesterday. Plus, played indoors. She played tug of war with her brother, Barkley, most of the day. Entertaining for all of us!

I am not sure it shows in the video, but he waited for permission (a release) before making his choice. He is a good boy.

Well, I tried it and the cups were too light perhaps(?)  because they just slid along the floor or the carpet.  Did you teach with one cup first then expand or ???
