How many spins does it take?

Kind of a gross question but....If your doodle spins (e.g. walks in circles) before going "#2," have you ever counted the number of turns? The other day my husband counted 120 spins for Riley. We will stand there and she will walk back and forth the distance of the leash then start tightening it into a smaller turn. She has been a "spinner" all her life so I don't think it is a sign of a medical issue. I'm thinking more like OCD...or a secret desire to drive us nuts while we shiver in the cold. I suppose it adds to her personality. :-)

So this morning it was -14° with a windchill of -36° when we went out for Annabelle to do her business. She didn't even sniff for a spot or do any of her rituals. A few steps out the door she dropped her butt, did both 1 and 2. We were out maybe a little over a minute, before she whined for me to pick her up and carry her back in the house. I was so happy, I had reached my limit after a minute too. For both it can take up to 10 minutes and she never does both in the same place. Today was a first.
