Black Brindle/ Silver?

HI am the owner of a 10 week old Goldendoodle. We were told he was a black brindle, but since getting him he has gotten quite a few grey hairs around his eyes. Right now he is mostly black and undercoat area is a creamy color and he has splashes of brown. Is he going to silver out? Any photos of a similar looking doodle at his age? The grey is pretty hard to see in photos but its there. We are looking forward to watching him change and grow. :)

SO so beautiful and adorable! When I first saw these photos (before I even saw your post), I first thought of how they looked like Sheba as a puppy. See some of her puppy photos here -

My BB was solid black as a pup 8-12 weeks, but turned grey pretty quickly, we first noticed it on the bridge of his nose (see photo below) where it seemed as the hair was coming in at different colors.

As an adult, BB's paws and ears are very silvery, and sometimes he looks brown instead of black.

I think with Brindles if you were to shave him down you'd see the brindle stripes.  Maybe he's got sable too?  He's darling, either way.

It is so hard to know at this age.  I'd say for certain he will lighten up.  Our Lucy had the silver colors and some brown tips as a puppy but she lost the brown with the first haircut and it didn't return.  She is now sort of what I refer to as a pewter.  You puppy does look a lot like Sheba and BB.

We just got a puppy with this exact coloring! She was described as Cafe Au Lait... but it's hard to tell. My puppy is 8 weeks old right now and this could be her identical twin. This is my first posting on here, so hopefully if I snoop around a little bit I'll see some updated photos of your little guy. If not, I hope you see this and post some for my seeing pleasure! The resemblance is uncanny!
