On the bright side - at least she had no ill effects. Cleaning up after her would have been adding insult to injury.
Adorably naughty.
And another on the bright side - you don't have to deal with all that sugar and possible weight gain. She saved you!!!
OMD....I just want to say you are so very lucky. I know your thought is that this is comical and I understand you wanting to share that, but I just worry that everyone won't get the full understanding of how differently this could have ended. Chocolate can be deadly...it is toxic to our dogs. My Valentine chocolate is put away in upper closed cabinets where I know my guys can't possible get to it.....because if they could they would. She is absolutely adorable, and I'm so happy she's okay.
Yes, we are lucky. (and it was high and I thought out of reach--didn't know she'd actually climb from a chair onto a high table to get it). I did have hydrogen peroxide on hand and ready if she showed any signs of trouble, but thankfully no need this time. Little bugger :)
Just like my Tigger - no amount of scolding is too much to nullify the satisfaction of stolen people food.
I'm a bit confused; did you mean to post this in the Training Group?
