HOW DO YOU GET YOUR PHOTO INTO THE SHOW?

Good question! Spud's mom, Joanne, put together a great visual tutorial here: Slideshow HowTo

If you like visuals, use her tutorial.  Otherwise, try the instructions below...

1-- Upload your photo the main photo page.

2-- In the 'tag' section of the photo put in the tag that corresponds with the slide show theme (see list above).

It's quite easy, actually.  If you prefer to submit photos via your smart phone, be sure you put in the correct email address.  The email address should have "ning" somewhere in it.  If not, it won't make it here.

Oh Noooo! I LOVE the slideshow! I think maybe a lot of people just don't have pictures of their kissing Doodles?

We've had at least 9 slide shows in the past with this very theme...I should just pull old photos....

I LOVE the slide show, it's fun seeing all the doodles in one place.  Now that I know where to look!  Any chance of putting future themes up, time somehow gets away from me and before I know it I'm too late! I actually have some kissing photos that could have been fun, darn.....  

BTW, I'm getting rave reviews on your calendar!  It hangs on my tower at work so by-passers can't miss it! Ü

Perhaps it's time DK updated to a tablet friendly format? Some of the DK fun is subtracted by the difficulty of the site even when, as I am now, on a laptop. Posting is soooo slow when all is well but sometimes it proves impossible. No amount of reporting problems does much good. Many of our old standby members post far more on other sires like FB.

I honestly think it's  smart phone thing, F. People are on their smart phones all day, it seems, and FB lends itself to that. I don't have one. :)

I have one but I use it sometimes as a phone and for navigation. But DK is difficult even when using a laptop nowadays.

When do you update these? I don't know when to check for the next show theme?  I really like to participate if I have an appropriate pic.
