Need to share........

I just had to share this with you all..................... I have been home since Tuesday because my baby (not really, she is 3 yrs. old) has been sick. She has had a fever since then ans an AWFUL cough which does not let her sleep.

On the typical day we all go to work and school while Bear stays home. We still crate him during the day, but then he has free rein of the house after we get home. So obviously, Rylie and I have been home all week ..........Bear was in the high life being out and loving every minute of it.

Those of you who know the past relationship of Rylie and Bear was touch and go. But now, you can not separate these two. He has been really attentive with her and was ALWAYS around her.....sniffing her and licking (kissing) her. Mind you, she is feverish and would wake up on the couch and the first thing she would say "Where's Bear?"

I can not tell how much I cherished watching these 2 together this week. I really think their bond has grown. I really do not want to go back to work next week :(

Thank you for sharing this with us, Holly. I'm sorry Rylie has been ill, and I hope she gets better quickly! But I love the image of Bear playing "nursemaid" to Rylie, and picturing her being comforted by him. Kids & dogs together, loving each other, is just so great! I'm so happy that things have worked out like this between your two babies. And I love your profile photo of the two of them, too!

Thanks for sharing - very cute. Even though it stinks your daughter is sick, but I know what you mean about not being home each day. I had many days home over xmas and new years and my dogs were so happy to be out and about for extra days. However I must admit they miss their sleep time!!

Hi Holly ~ I have been away most of the week but just saw your post and wanted to say that I sure hope Rylie is feeling better. It is one of the tougher demands on our hearts as mothers and getting to the other side of their 'feeling bad' times comes with great relief.

Oh hurray! Thanks for the update on Rylie and Bear. Hope Rylie is feeling better and you all get a little more sleep. I love a happy ending or in this case a new happy beginning.
