I didn't see this on any other threads, so forgive me if its been discussed, but does anyone have any info on the Kirkland brand Grain Free dog food that I just saw at Costco? It's called Nature's Domain Grain Free. It comes in two flavors. I took a pic (attached) of the ingredients.

Thanks!

If you do a search for "Nature's Domain", you'll get a lot of info. We do not recommend it, or any Kirkland product. Short answer is that they are owned and made by Diamond, which has a horrible recall history. Ingredients are imported from China.

In addition, 24% protein is ridiculously low for a grain free food. Too low even for a food that contains grains. That would be the reason it's priced so low, meat costs more than starch.
I hope you're not looking to switch from Orijen, but if you are, stick with a grain-free, higher protein food from our recommended list. Maybe Wellness CORE.

Karen--ah!!! I couldn't figure out who the "maker" was, but I figured it was crap and not caviar! :)

No, I have no plans to switch. My sister was with me at Costco and she was like "look how much cheaper that grain free food is!" and I told her it was probably crap but that I would check. Lol.

I knew you'd know!!!! So, THANKS!

In addition to being low in protein and heavy on carbs, it also has a terrible Omega 3 content and Omega 6:3 ratio.
