Boone loves the Crazy Dog Train-Me treats in Bacon flavor.  He will do anything for those.  I've been using them since he was 3 months old (when I got him) and he is almost 3 years old and he still loves them just as much today as the first day I used them.

We use Zuke's mini dog treats http://www.amazon.com/Zukes-Naturals-Roasted-Chicken-16-Ounce/dp/B0... -- they are small, which we like since we tend to use a lot of treats when having training sessions.

We also like the Fuitables skinny minis http://www.amazon.com/Fruitables-Skinny-Treats-Grilled-1-5-Ounce/dp... -- they have lots of different flavors including bison and chicken and some different fruit versions and again are small :)

We've been using Trader Joe's Charlee Bear treats. Ace LOVES them.

I use the Zuke's mini naturals for training only, they do come in a few flavors. I even split those in half. Annabelle is a mini doodle, so she doesn't really need a whole one, even if they are small. I give her other treats, just for being good during grooming, or on walks, or anything that's not during our regular training sessions. Right now we have Old Mother Hubbard, Cloudstar and K9 granola biscuits.

Zukes and K9 are not on the DK recommended list. The Zukes was recommended by our trainer way back in October before I even knew what a DK recommended food list was. Annabelle loves the Zukes treats more than anything I have ever given her. I know the K9 has wheat in it. Annabelle eats Orijen dog food, so if she has a treat with wheat in it once in awhile, I am ok with that. It doesn't seem to bother her tummy.

I use Zukes Mini Naturals Peanut Butter flavor treats for most training. . For high value training treats I cut up cooked chicken breast. I think Abby likes the Zukes as much as the chicken!
