Is the Swiffer Wet Jet ok to use on my kitchen floor?

I read the ASPCA note that its fine, but I'm wondering if there are green/non toxic alternatives to Swiffer just in case.

I too am concerned about using chemicals around Tara. I don't have a Swiffer Wet Jet but I know some people modify  the bottle so they can refill it with their own cleaning solution (such as vinegar and water). This would still give you the convenience of the Swiffer without the toxicity. How to convert:

Personally, I like a steamer cleaner. I have a Haan and love it! No chemicals at all, just water and it does a great job. I ordered extra cleaning pads as my house has a lot of hard flooring.
