So after we got our cute goldendoodle pup we thought we'd to start practice grooming right away at 10 weeks so that both us and our pup would be pros on the grooming front by the time he was big enough for it to matter lol we've been keeping his body fairly short @ 1-2 inches and just trimming his face as need but I recently left for a work trip and came home to a half naked puppy!! you'll notice my be left his face, legs and tail untouched. Remington is almost 5 months old now and although I miss the fluff, I'm entranced by his markings!!

He is beautiful. I love his markings. They are so different from other doodle pics I have seen. His body marking remind me of an english setter.

It is interesting how the genes come out. My doodle girl is a black phantom. Her dad is a bi-color red and white and her mom is a creme.

Thanks guys! We definitely get lots of compliments whenever we're out and about with him.  On top of his stunning looks he's got a great personality, such a well mannered, sweet and playful pup so he'll get ya with one or the other lol We're really curious to see how much his markings change as he matures. He's already started to lighten up in some areas where dark brown is turning lavender and grey is turning to white.
