Puppy Weight

Hi!  We will be bringing home our standard F1 Golden Doodle in a few weeks.  Yay!!  I just got an update from the breeder, Darby will be 7 weeks tomorrow and already weighs 12 pounds.  Is that average or are we getting a butterball??  Thanks!!

Cooper was 13 lbs at 8 weeks and I remember being shocked when I picked him up and saw how big he was (he was middle of the pack and then shot up to be the biggest in the litter). He's matured to be 58 lbs and is now almost 4 years old so it doesn't necessarily mean you're going to have a giant on your hands (although you just never really know). Our little guy just turned 5 months and only just hit 13 lbs which is funny to me. Whatever size yours ends up, you'll love him for sure! Congrats!

At 7 weeks, Ace was 11.7lbs. Now at 16 weeks, he is 38lbs, YIKES. You may also have a big pup in the making. :-)

Lincoln was 12 lbs at 8 weeks, then at 3 months 22lbs, 4 months 38 lbs and now at 7 months he is 51 lbs.   Breeder told us he may get to about 70ish lbs.  His father a doodle was big, so i think we will have a big boy on our hands.  Depends on their build too, so oyu never know for sure. Enjoy him the fun is just beginning!!!

Congrats..He is a cuttie pie.

Asta is a F1 standard teddybear goldendoodle, and he was 15.25 lbs at 13 weeks, 17 lbs at 14 weeks, and 22.5 lbs at 16 weeks.  They grow so fast.  Lol.

Lucky was 11 pounds at 8 weeks.  He just had a checkup and his final puppy vaccines on Monday, and he weighed 29 pounds!  He gained over 10 pounds from one checkup to the next, which the vet said was not uncommon.

Moose comes home at the end of the month but at four and a half weeks he was already 7lbs... Not sure where he's at now but I'm curious to see how big he will get!

Butters was only 6 pounds at 7 weeks, so half your baby's size! She was so bitty, but there were 12 puppies in her litter and I think they all were on the small side. She is kind of average now, I think. She's 19 weeks old and weighed 28.5 pounds at the vet yesterday.

Congrats on the new puppy. Our Max was 12 lbs at 7 weeks and he weighs 70 lb now (5 years old). He is also a F1 Standard. We now have Ellie who is 16 weeks old and she seems so tiny. Only 18 lbs at 16 weeks!
