I'm on a research team that studies how students learn by having small-group discussions in the classroom. We are funded by the National Science foundation, which is having a video "showcase" and competition. In short, we believe that promoting authentic talk in the classrooms is the key to engaging students for academic success, and we are excited for the opportunity to share our project.

Cute photos, and isn't it nice to some summer-like weather.  We had some warm weather earlier, but now it is cool again - more like our summers here.

Its cooled down today, and we had some storms -- going morel hunting tomorrow ;-] Seems we're back in spring. BB loves it!
