Adding pictures to where the "doodle kisses" header is

HI.  I'm very new to the site and have been playing with my page.  I have tried adjusting the template so that I have pictures where the doodle kisses header is located at the top of the page.  Can anyone give me instructions on how to remove this and replace it with pix?  Thanks

Go to all options and header.  You have two choices at least you did with the old header.  One keep the dk words at the top and change the color of them to be practically invisible.  The other is to go to the  advanced and erase the data on that page. If you patiently look at what it is you can often find the specific part you want out.  I do not know if this still works because I have everything erased from the advanced page and doodlekisses words are still on my header.

time...where does it go these day?  Hold on to your hat!  I'm reliving my days as a new mother!  Love Jackson to pieces but now into 3 weeks and he's bonded and "home"....he's into EVERYTHING!!  I need eyes in the back and on the sides of my head!  I've just enrolled him in puppykindergarten in spite of the fact he need a final round of shots in mid August.  The class checks for papers and have never had an issue.  I need to get some help in implementing some things I thought I knew how to do after all my reading over this last year!!  Your little black pup is so precious and I know you're going to melt once you have her home.  But....get ready!!

I have NO idea how to make any changes to my front page! There is no "Options" button???

Lori, I can talk you through this.  Just under your profile picture is Customize My Page.  Click on that.  You can edit the appearance/format of your page.  The one I choose lets me make the whole page 'transparent' so that I can upload a picture from either my computer or 'glitter graphics'  but some let you have a boarder on one side only or a 'frame' etc.  Mid-way down the page there are 3 tabs.   If you choose the second tab - all options, you can make some simple photo and color changes to the format you selected.  If you want to get really fancy, you can select the 3rd tab and cut and paste one of the background options from glitter graffics.  Let me know if this helps and if you need more assistance.

It is quite the complicated process! When it says "header" I thought that would be the area at the top that says"Doodlekisses.com". Is there a way to change just that part of it or does that have to do with the "advanced" part?

Do you want it not to say Doodlekisses?  If so, you can't change that.  You can change the picture behind it though.

It is the header.  Click on customize, then all options, then header image.  You can download a picture from your computer.
