Tracey! I wanted to tell you "thank you" for the kiddie pool suggestion. I found it at Target for $9.99 made in USA! lol. Cooper was afraid to go in it at first. I had to lure him in using cheese. I placed the cheese in a plastic bowl that floated in the pool. He eventually realized he had to get his paws in to get to the cheese! lol. We did it three times with just his front paws in. Then later he had all four paws in on his own but quickly went out. My two sons wanted to play in it two and that helped Cooper warm up to it even more! They all played in it for 40 minutes!!! Cooper was wiped out afterwards. lol. Let me see if I know how to upload a picture...
Yikes! We'll get there soon enough here in Southern CA! Mornings and evenings are cool, so we can still stay out in the backyard. Some evenings we'll go to the dog park and he loves it there. It's just in the dead heat of the afternoons that we run out of things to keep him busy. I guess I can do that...take him to PetSmart & Lowes! lol The problem I have with going to PetSmart or Petco is that we come out with a toy :P It's not Cooper asking for it, it's just me...the guilt. lol.
Thanks for the advice. BTW, your doodles are ADORABLE!!!
Thanks for the pic! And I thought Tracey meant the inflatables. LOL!!!
we have one like this for the girls and they love it. Lucy will just go out and lay down in it and stay there. Don't buy the doggie ones like from the pet stores. Way too expensive. Just go to Walmart or somewhere like that. Biggest one is like $25 here I think.
