Bodi was sick last week.  I won't go into the gory details, but the kind of sick that makes you think something is very, very wrong.  The kind of sick that made me afraid to go the vet, even I know that is irrational.  I did the RIGHT thing.  I came on doodlekisses - I'm more of a reader than a writer here- and searched Bodi's symptoms.  That led me to go immediately to the vet and now all is good. I love my vet and I also love that I can get onto this site and read what you "experts" have to say.  I know that this site is not for specific medical advice, but it DID point me in the right direction. Straight to the vet.

So I'd like to say thank you to all who post here and those of you with really smart answers! You are a great support team for our wonderful doodles! Thank you!

Bodi felt fine the whole time . . but wasn't fine at all.  TODAY is the first day I can say he is FINE! It took more than a week and a second trip to the vet, but now we are good.  Sorry I left that part out of my post!

I know exactly how you felt. I love that we can tune in or turn to our doodle loving friends for advice. I rushed Bay to the vet yesterday because Tuesday she vomited twice and is now having pee accidents in the house. Very out of character. I am waiting on blood and urine results but vet started her on antibiotics to treat possible UTI. I am so worried and nervous. Love that we have places to turn to to share both joys and fears. Hope Bodi is all better now!
