Avoid Slideshow Extinction

Some of you may have noticed that the slideshow has not had many changes recently. Reason? Lack of participation! The 4th of July came and went and still we have only 10 photos submitted for the slideshow. Maybe if you guys tag some pics today, Adina will still do the holiday slideshow. I have pictures entered that I would like to see. Maybe you do too? Maybe you thought it was too late? Please help us save the slideshow!!! I know the photography group members have PLENTY of pics they could enter! Use this as your opportunity to get out and take more photos!!!!!! In order to be included in this slideshow, just tag your photos "4July15".

Nancy, are you sure you tagged them? You can go back and look at your pictures and click to edit tags to make sure. I see your cute photos but I don't see the tags.

So what do you think of posting discussions as Lori has...but with the slide show embedded into the post? It would serve as a reminder and as people tag photos the slide show would automatically update.

I added the tagged photos to the front page slide show too. It's an old one and I just added new photos at the end.

I had 2 photos tagged correctly but neither are showing up in the slide show.

I just added a few that had July in lower case (july). Maybe yours were included there?

That might have been my problem...I usually copy & past the tag from the Slideshow list...but maybe I didnt that time. Thanks Adina!

I should add that I added it to the main page. Not in this discussion because Lori made this slide show and I can't edit hers.

I think Joani (Skadi and Elli) wants to help too. So maybe you, Lori, and Joani could come up with a schedule to swap slide show responsibilities and theme ideas. If you love the slide show, it's all yours :-) You can decide together how you want to do things within the forum. And if you have a plan and want me to add a link to your announcements to the emails I send out, let me know!
