Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
I was on my way home from a lousy day of running errands during one of our frequent thunderstorms. My day was immediately brightened by the sight of the mysterious box on my doorstep. Especially once I realized it was from Lori and Quincy! It made my day brighter but it really made some Doodles happy! Two of them were very interested and curious about the box:
The third one was just not impressed..Lol. She'd rather be in bed than exert any unnecessary energy.
Pippa inspected the box and decided she wanted it all for herself. "Get away Daphne!"
Those treats sure smell yummy!
Those Doodles and I were rewarded greatly for all my "hard work" and time spent on Doodlekisses!
They each got their own bottle-cover toy and some really yummy all natural treats. Lucy doesn't play with toys but thats OK. She gets yummy treats..in moderation. And Daphne & Pippa are having a blast with them! They also got a paw-plunger to clean off those little muddy feet when they go outside after the rain. I got a nice photo frame (and you know I have pictures..Lol), some yummy honey from New York and a beautiful coffee table book! There are so many wonderful pictures and stories in there. Some are Doodles and some not but it is an awesome book!
Here are samples of some of my favorite pages:
There is fun information I never knew. I Think its really cool and must be fun to go to Central Park with your dog in the early morning or evening.
There are exercise tips.
And just true statements of fact.Best of all there are Happy dogs!
These three happy little munchkins are the reason for my becoming a "Hopeless Doodle Addict" and I can't think of a better reason! They have given me so much that I wouldn't have had otherwise. Many new friends both online and off, better photography skills, and a real interest in Doodle Rescue. I am so much more aware of things I never knew, grooming techniques (which I have yet to try but I will someday), Nutrition awareness and how it all affects my dogs health and well being, and most of all that there are soooo many other people out there that are just like me and truly love their dogs! I know a lot of people still think I am crazy but I know that I can come here and everyone really understands. I am truly grateful for all the support!
One last picture. I tried to get a photo of the four of us and me with the "Medal of Honor" but it just didn't work out. I am wearing it, you just can't see it. In fact I wore it out to dinner the other night. Why not? It deserved a night out of the box and out on the town..Lol!
I must give kudos to my DH. He took the above photo which is not half bad..Lol. He also puts up with all my doodle obsessiveness (and pays all their bills)!

Thank you Nancy! Being an HDA is so much fun!
Congratulations! Your last photo looks like it should be in the N.Y.book. Love the colors you are wearing to frame your doodles.
Thank you Carolyn! I once had a neighbor ask me if I dyed "all those dogs" that color. Lol! I didn't really think about it but the color does make them stand out a little.
What a wonderful HDA story. So deserving and Lori & Quincy picked some wonderful presents. I love the NYC book and all the photos. DH certainly did a wonderful job on the last pick. Congrats Lori.
Thank you Sheri. Lori & Quincy did a perfect job! DH is not so bad either, I suppose we'll keep him..lol.
