Scabs on body

My puppy is 5 months old and I started noticing these small crusty scabs on his body. He doesn't seemed bothered by these, but I always feel them when I scratch him. I just got him treated for fleas and ticks so I don't think that's the cause. I posted this on the health group and got some good responses, but I wanted to know if anyone else has had this issue with their dog. I also attached a picture to this post.. Thanks!

Crazy how this is happening to our little pups! I went to the vet and he said that his skin is getting irritated by his collar. This is because when he gets wet, he doesn't dry off completely so it rubs him the wrong way. Since its summer I have been taking him to the beach and pool and usually let him air dry. Then I wouldn't take his collar off and I would walk him without a harness. So it would just constantly rub up and down on his neck and his fur is thick so it was irritating him. My vet shaved him down on the spots where the scabs were and there was a ring of scars (like healing scabs) around his neck. They perscribed him some antibiotic ointment and it actually does look a lot better! So I am thankful.
