Ok, I know this is a long shot but a Mom has to try. While looking for pictures of my girls with their favorite toy, I came across quite a few of Pippa with her very favorite...Bumblebee. She absolutely loves the bees! She has one in her mouth at all times. She takes it outside for her potty breaks and comes right back in with it.

Once in a while she drops it and comes back inside the house without it. Before long I hear a high pitched bark at the back door and know she has remembered her forgotten bee. I open the door and off she goes to rescue it.

Those poor bees are looking pretty awful! They came out of a Hide-a-bee toy. I hate how bad they look but she chooses that bee before all her other (many other) toys. I have contacted the company in an effort to buy replacements. They have since changed the look and style of the bees and don't have any old stock left. The old bees were a plastic cylinder that squeaked (ours quit squeaking long ago). The new bees are fatter and have more of a stuffed body like the one in the middle below.

Pippa could hardly wait for me to get done taking their picture so she could get her favorite bee again.

On the off chance that someone has this toy and their dog does not love it like Pippa does, I am making this plea. Please help me! I am seriously willing to pay for any bees in better shape than the sad ones I already have. Name your price.

Pippa and her bees are so cute but we have none.

Thanks F. Like I said, I know its a long shot but if I didn't try, I would never know.

That is just too precious. I wish I had some to offer you.

Thank you Amy, I appreciate it.

Oh, Pippa, you are too cute for words. I will keep an eye out for any special bees.

Thank you Becka!

Awww Pippa, you are so cute with your bees!   I wish we had some to donate!   Good luck in your search Lori!

Those darn bees make me crazy! She's like a kid carrying around a ratty old blankie.

Pippa probably loves them just the way they are.  You can buy just the plastic squeaky part and replace the one that is not working.  Charlie had a favorite puppy that I washed, and he no longer liked it. So I no longer wash these things. I am sorry Pippa, but we have no bees at our house.  You are certainly a very smart beautiful girl!

Thanks Linda! She does love them the way they are. I'm not worried about making them squeak again. If I tried that it would ruin them. They used to be a plastic cylinder covered with the cloth but the plastic is now flattened kind of like a water bottle that gets crushed so I would have to cut them open to insert a squeaker.

Who made this toy?

It was made by Plush Puppies which is owned by Outward Hound.
