barking
Every morning I let my almost 6 month old pup out to do his business and for some reason he always has a barking fit even though he sees nothing and there is no one out there. Its like he is saying "HELLO!" every morning. Its kinda funny, but very loud and I feel bad for the neighbors because It is early. Why do you think he does this? Is he just being a pup?

It's possible he's saying hello to the birds!! My Kobe is 7 months and seems to bark in response to birds chirping.

Moose is 5 months old and does the same thing. I think he's probably saying hello/good morning, he's just more vocal. He kind of looks around in all directions and then it begins. Loki on the other head is very quiet and will growl at Moose when he starts that up.
