So my cooper since we got him been always itching or butting him self. Mostly few the same spots. He been at the vet had antibiotics etc. Is been back and front.. Some days are less some are more..
I read tons about coconut oil so I started it yesterday. Is amybody else using it? He def loves it. How much do you give it to your dog? Did u see any changes? Thank you

U think is ok to wash him once a week? I had shampoo from vet and that was horrible he keep itching more. So I got one of the conner and semes he acted better after I washed him .

I don't know what connor & semes is, but Jack is under the care of a veterinary dermatologist who recommended that he be bathed once a week if possible with Douxo Calm. It has worked wonders for him, and for several other people here on DK who have used it. The lather must be left on for 5-10 minutes before rinsing, no hot dryers, and no leave-in detanglers, rinses, or other grooming products.

You can only get it online or from a vet dermatologist; it's cheaper online.

as Karen mentioned, the Duoxo shampoo is very effective. I have bathed Bella at least once a week when she has itchy times and change to an oatmeal shampoo when she is not in one of those phases. It is fine to bath them more. It helps to keep the skin clean, calms the itching and Duoxo is a treatment that needs to be used once a week.

I will def try it. Whatever helps I will do it. I am glad to hear I can wash him more because he loves baths and usually don't itch so bad afterwards. I have a oatmeal shampoo now. He been better last 2 days...mostly itches in am after he wakes up . idk is so crazy. After our frenchie passed away on cancer I am little crazy about cooper health.
