Hi Matt, I have no experience with it and have never even heard of it. Just wanted to let you know that I have been in the position of worrying about my pets health and the outcome of a diagnosis and I am sorry you are in that position now. I am sending prayers that Murph gets a better diagnosis.
Hi Matt,
I don't have any info for you, but I will certainly keep Murph in my thoughts. Sending a white healing light his way.

I'm so sorry to hear this. What type of Doodle is Murph? I looked up GSD and it appears to be very unusual in general but particularly so for any of the typical Doodle breeds. Here's hoping it's something easily manageable. My Murphy had very similar symptoms a few years ago and it turned out to be a rare tick-borne illness. He was quite sick for a week but recovered fully. Hoping your Murph is feeling better soon. Please keep us posted.
Thanks, Lori. From what I saw it would be unusual for either Poodles or Goldens. It must be so difficult waiting for the diagnosis from the Vet.
Hi there! I have no personal experience, but it sounds like there are several types of glycogen storage disease. http://www.petmd.com/dog/conditions/endocrine/c_multi_glycogen_stor...
I certainly hope Murph does not have this, but it looks like there is a potential medical treatment for type III: rapamycin (sirolimus).http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24509886 Human-grade sirolimus is fairly expensive.
This paper suggests that extended release corn starch may help type I http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26303612, but it sounds like this is controversial. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25164784
This paper suggests vitamin E might help in type Ib. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26122627
These are just single studies, and obviously you have to wait until Murph gets a final diagnosis. If he does get this, then it sounds like a consult with a canine dietary specialist (by whatever terminology that vet specialty goes by) would be helpful.
Hoping that Murph does not have this and he gets well soon.
