Will my Irishgoldendoodle become shaggy?

Does anyone else have a puppy that looks like Ralph? I am excited to know if his coat will stay fairly straight or if his poodle side will start to show more! He is 8 weeks old and is a little dare devil!

Ralph is BEAUTIFUL! Who were his parents? Irish setter and F1 Goldendoodle? My guess is that he will not have the hair of a poodle. He doesn't have the facial furnishings that poodles and a lot of Doodles do. But that doesn't stop him from being absolutely gorgeous! Welcome to Doodlekisses!

His mum is an Irish Setter / Golden Retriever and his dad is full Poodle.

Wow...He's so handsome....I bet he'll be wavy & loose - like a golden as opposed to a poodle...He's so gorgeous! Congrats!

This is Ralph and his big sister Roo...she is a pure bred golden.

What a sweet cutie! I see some resemblance between Ralph and my Bink when he was 8/9 weeks:

Little curls on the ears, fluffy back and chest, short hair on the nose and legs. Bink is now 4 months so I don't know what he will look like when he is older then a year. But feel free to look in my albums, where you can find photos from then till now.

I'm sure Ralph stays as beautiful as he is now!

Wow, love the colour! But looking at his face and feet he will keep on looking like a labrador retriever. Or flatcoated retriever like. Super cute plus tangle free. However he could start to shed. Enjoy him xxx
